Our engagements are structured to include a dedicated Director, along with internal support to assist with tasks that are necessary yet less dependent on years of experience — systems maintenance, rate plan builds and mapping, report generation and distribution, etc.

Gary Hawkins
Founder
Gary joined Standard Hotels as the opening Reservations and Revenue Manager of The Standard Highline and was promoted a few times until ultimately holding the title of Corporate Director of Revenue Management for the portfolio. In addition to oversight of the rooms performance of Standard Hotels, Gary helped with distribution support for André Balazs Properties (Sunset Beach, The Mercer, Chateau Marmont, Chiltern Firehouse), as well as worked on the creation of the One:Night app.
Gary joined SIXTY Hotels in 2015 as Vice President, Revenue Management when the Pomeranc brothers sold the Thompson Hotels brand and created the new SIXTY Hotels brand retaining several of the original Thompson flagship properties. Gary was integral in the new brand creation and mitigating the risks associated with rebranding the hotel collection.
Gary joined Sydell Group in 2016 when it was a management company comprised of 6 independent hotels with annual room revenue of $46M and helped grow it into a portfolio of brands with annual room revenue of $380M.

Ben Teresi
Chief Operating Officer
Ben began his career with André Balazs at the front desk of Chateau Marmont in 2008 and by 2011 was overseeing reservations for the historic property. He then became Director of Revenue at The Mercer in NYC from 2013–2020. His success here led him to help open The Chiltern Firehouse in London and support Sunset Beach on Shelter Island each summer.
Following COVID, Ben moved to Switzerland in 2020 to complete his MBA at Les Roches with a focus on Advanced Revenue Management.
Ben joined Selfbook, a booking engine, payments and distribution company, in 2021 and oversaw Business Intelligence followed by Sales for the Western United States.
In 2023, Ben reunited with Gary to begin transitioning Hawkins Hospitality into a full-fledged commercial agency.
